LO5: Evidence of production
POSTER
The banner I created here was from Photoshop; this was created to make the writing standout from the background.
I got the Magna logo and placed it onto my background image, as Magna is the location of the fashion show. I then used the magic wand tool to remove the white background.
To make the "M" of Magna stand out I used the drop shadow tool on Photoshop. This made the "M" more bold to standout to the audience.
I wanted the background removed from my sponsors, I did this by using the magic wand tool and removing the white background.
The circle, which I created on Photoshop was used as banner to advertise that the tickets for "Mesh" were now available, this was effective as it made the advertisement standout.
I merged the text font and the circle layer together so it was one layer.
Once I had merged these layers together I used the magnetic lasso tool and selected the font. I then removed the font so that my background image made up the words.
I used "Basic font" type for my main writing, I then used the shapes tools to create the three banners.
FLYER
By uploading all these images I was able to create a cubist layout to my flyer.
I then clicked on the shape tool to create this box. I turned the opacity of the box down so that the background image was still visible. I also started to write text with the font "Basic font" type.
LO4: Legal and Ethical
My media product must not contain any misleading, harmful or offensive material; the reason that I must follow these regulations is because of the ASA ( The Advertising Standards Authority). The ASA follow advertising codes in order to regulate adverts on different platforms. I must make sure when creating my graphic packages for advertisement that it does not contain any misleading, harmful or offensive material in order to follow ASA regulations. So far in my project I have followed this and my product does not contain any of this.
